Seven Seas Capital

Samir is the Founder and Managing Partner of Seven Seas Capital, a search fund based in Atlanta, GA.

He began his career by working in field operations across power generation facilities in Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi at Southern Company. He then joined General Electric’s energy management business where he launched hardware / software products and led construction teams within the industrial, energy & utilities sectors. He also completed his master’s in electrical engineering from his alma mater, Georgia Tech.

To diversify his skillset, Samir pursued an account management and implementation role at private equity owned software company called PowerPlan. After his short stint there, he spent the next five years at PwC, where he advised fortune 500 company leaders on growth strategy, technology strategy and post M&A integration. Most recently he had the opportunity to serve on the product and sales leadership teams of a $20M ARR software company, to support its next stage of growth and acquisition.

Prior to founding Seven Seas Capital, Samir completed his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (“ETA”). He was a member of the 2023 Zell Fellows ETA Cohort and completed internships at NextGen Growth Partners and Stewardship Partners.
